Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, Puy-deDomme France in August 9th 1976. Audrey Tautou is the fourth child among four children. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist and a teacher who were both teachers to pursue her interest in the theatre. It was in stark contrast to an earlier desire to pursue a career as a primateologist since she loved monkeys. The actress became famous as a child actor quickly and enjoyed huge popularity and success. After completing her degree she was invited to take part in Jeunes Premiers an French TV talent-scouting programme that was sponsored by Canal+. There she was awarded the prize for the Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. It was this that led her to pursue a professional acting career. Tautou was born into the context of a Catholic home and went to religious services, despite having was a student in the Institut Catholique de Paris. She has pursued a modeling career in addition to her acting work and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. Alongside her acting work she is also interested in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection images at the Arles Film Festival, under the title Superficial. Her work focuses on celebrity as well as fame. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major role in Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Following this massive success, Tautou went on to star in numerous films, such as British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
